We are a Bioregional Company, believing in and fostering the connection between our individual health and the health of the local community of plants, animals, people, and the earth which mothers us. We wildcraft consciously in the wilderness of Northern New Mexico, ensuring the longevity of the plant stands, and support others who wildcraft and farm plants in the most environmentally conscientious ways. We work with local organic growers supporting other small businesses whenever possible. Ninety Eight Percent of our Herbs are Organically grown and/or Wildcrafted. Herbs not locally or organically available are obtained from the best sources available. We rely on our own harvesting and farming and the source relationships developed over many years of herbal contacts and association.

We use selected imports meeting our stringent qualifications and documentation practices. We follow FDA Good Manufacturing Practice Guidelines and standardize in house Operating Procedures. At Dragon River Herbals, we run a Traditional herb lab, using only glass, baked enamel, and stainless steel for Processing, Maceration, and Storage of herbs and herbal products, Never Plastic! We rotate our stocks seasonally, harvesting and purchasing most of our inventory during the peak growing seasons for availability during the entire year. We inspect each herb to assure it is correctly identified and of the best quality. We will on occasion use third party independent testing of herbs when identification and source is questionable. We do not standardize extracts. We believe that Whole-Plant extracts represents the best natural synergistic healing, utilizing all known and unknown constituents and not relying on the use of only theorized active constituent(s).
